The easiest way to get used to seeing yourself or hearing yourself on video is to just keep doing it and not really thinking about it. I know that sounds clichĂ© but the more that you do these videos the less you’ll really think about, âOh what do I look like? or what does my hair look like?â or any of that because you’ll get used to it and you’ll find out what works best for you and you will know what you should do next or things like that.

When you start a YouTube channel you want to get subscribers and views. Most people focus on their subscriber count, but knowing that people are watching your videos is definitely more important.
It took me about 2 years to reach 1,000 subscribers on my channel, but I hit over 100K views in one year and I average 10k views or watch time a month.

I have a really quick tip for you, if you get in a rut, and you’re kind of like I have no idea what to post, or I don’t know what to make my next video on, or anything like that.
You can go to your competitor or somebody in your niche and look at the comments on either their YouTube videos, or their Instagram post and nine times out of ten, you’ll see people asking questions like, âHey, can you show me how to do this?â or âhey what about that?â, and the person whose content they left it on haven’t even answered their questions yet.

Have you ever wanted to have more desktop screen space but didnât want to buy a PC or iMac? I felt the same way and decided to convert my Macbook Pro into a desktop while I was sitting at my desk in my home office.
I started my YouTube channel in 2017 and editing videos on my previous 2010 13â Macbook Air was hard on such a small screen and older laptop. I looked into buying an iMac but then realized that I could setup an external monitor instead to get more screen space.
Earlier this year I upgraded to a Macbook Pro and the accessories and video below are what I am currently using as my desk setup. Itâs great for editing videos while Iâm sitting at my desk and when Iâm not as my desk I can just use my laptop.
The best part about this setup is that you save money by using an external monitor, keyboard and mouse instead of buying a desktop computer.
