You can go to your competitor or somebody in your niche and look at the comments on either their YouTube videos, or their Instagram post and nine times out of ten, you'll see people asking questions like, “Hey, can you show me how to do this?” or “hey what about that?”, and the person whose content they left it on haven't even answered their questions yet.

So you could either, answer the question on their post and say, “hey, this something I've done.”, or you could create a piece of content for it, go back to that comment and say, “hey I have this video on this, click here to watch it”, or “I have a blog post on that, click here to watch it”.

TIPS:

  • I usually wait a few weeks or months before commenting on someone else’s post so they have time to comment on their own post.

  • Instead of leaving the link in the comment you can say, “Search google for _____topic___ ____your name____” and that will help with SEO. For examples, "Search google for content ideas lindsey hazel”
